  We stayed for one night each way to/from a holiday in the Vendee. The location was great; only a few minutes from the autoroute. The owners were friendly and welcoming, the house was amazing and the gardens were very pleasant. Our room was well furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and you got the impression that the owners would go out ... что говорят » of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We were accompanied by our daughter and her husband with 2 young children who were also mad - W used this hotel as a stop over as it is near to Calais-less than an hour drive away. The chateau is impressive to look at but a bit of 'faded glory' look about the place... Let's call it shabby chic to be positive!.The reception/ bedrooms are typical French chateau (as you would expect) all very clean and tastefully decorated. The owner was very pleasant and the breakfast he made was superb. Just a note to say that they don't do evening meals but we found a nice restaurant just 5 minutes -all

  Although difficult to spot in the dark (same side of the road as the little restaurant and about 500 yds) once we found it we were delighted with this lovely B&B. We had booked the suite which was huge, comfortable and spotless. The owners were very accommodating as we arrived late and add further to the character of this fab place. It is a sh... что говорят » ort walk to a good little restaurant or a short drive into Montreuil and a good stop over for the tunnel. Great breakfast too. - We stayed with our 11y.o. son in a first floor apartment of this exquisite chateau. The place is stylish and impeccably clean. The setting is to die for. We had the most beautiful dawn seen through the bedroom windows. The host served us a nice breakfast in a lovely room.
