  This is a magical place! I can't say enough good things about Chateau de Rere and it's gracious hosts. They made us feel like close friends staying at their beautiful home,anticipating and taking care of all our needs and desires. We stayed at the Georges Pompidou suit and loved it. You can tell that a lot of love has been put int - The castle is located in the middle of a vast forest. The place is very quiet. Our room was very comfortable with a very large window directly overlooking the forest. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. He told us a very good restaurant for dinner. We crossed a deer on the way back through the forest. The breakfast was excellent. In the morning, the owner gave us a tour of the castle of his family and plunged us into the history of France.
