  Fantastic place! Large house from XVI century, beautifully restored and very special. Very nice hostess, helpful and welcoming. Our family suite with balcony to the garden was exellent. The location was ideal for us - in Menton-St. Bernard village, close to the lake and to the town Annecy, but very quiet and far from hordes of tourists. Some of the furniture had added significance in that it was heirlooms from the owner's extended family. The owner was very helpful and suggested a fabulous local restaurant. It has been in the hands of the same family ever since, though ownership is now being transferred to the staff, who are running it as a co-operative.   very nice and warm rooms. although the towels should have been changed more often I DO recommend this small rural house. the hosts were very nice and kind. the village is situated close to Annecy (7km) and the lake offers beautiful views. - Very quiet, polite staff and able to keep ourselves to ourselves.
