The reception of Mrs. Schmitt (Agence Transimmo) was very warm. She gave us all the tips we needed the town of Sarlat and the functioning of the apartment. The Duo studio, where we stayed, is complete and very cozy. The shower is strong. The towels and sheets are clean and soft. A terrific place to stay with ample room and every facility you needed. I caught up on much needed washing.The "house" was in a good position with a view of Sarlat township. The Manager is helpful and friendly. We managed to communicate with eachother even though my French was not great. Sarlat is so central to all the daytrips of castles and Beau

The apartments are set with superb views of the surrounding area. The welcome and assistance from the staff was excellent although their English and my French is limited, but don't let that put you off. They used Google translate when they weren't sure! The apartments we stayed in were modern, spacious and clean. We had an excellent holiday in a very beautiful area of France. We read the comments about the walk to Sarlat, it took us about 20 minutes and yes you need a torch if you do the journe

Le Porche de Sarlat is located in the old city of Sarlat and private car parking is located just outside the wall. Alex the owner was waiting for us when we arrived and explained all the appliances within the apartment which was new with all modern appliances and cooking requirements. Its located in an old stone building dating from the 1500's with cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.
