Friendly staff, very helpful and professional. The hotel was warm, the rooms and general nautical decor was fun and interesting but not contrived. Perfect for a short break and we would like to return. The Petit Brocante was a good recommendation for a great meal - thank you. -

Peter and his friend bent over backwards to make our stay there comfortable. Very good food in the restaurant and good value for money - truly 4* hotel-so often nothing like the blurb put out elsewhere we have stayed over the years.Everything was without fault,even the fragrance in entrance lobby was stunning.Breakfast was excellent quality,even coffee was the real stuff-not always given to you in France nowadays.

The chamber d'hote was in the lovely rural setting of an old mill
and run by a charming and very friendly couple. It was very clean and
comfortable and oldie world dating back to 14 something. We also enjoyed
table d'hote on one evening along with a French couple and our hosts
and I need say no more than Jerome had previously been a restaurateur.

Very rustic, converted moulin. Setting is beautiful: sheep, ducks, a lovely flowing river. Hosts were busy with caring for their property but available for questions, served a good French country breakfast and kindly offered to drive us if we needed a lift. We are walkers and enjoyed the 2kilometer walk to the sea and several restaurants.

Very well positioned and easy to locate. Staff extremely helpful. Very clean and felt secure. Seen much comment about the breakfast but, in fairness, we thought the ambiance, service, panoramic view, cleanliness and, though restricted choice of food, was well worth. For the cost involved it was definately value for money. -
