  A delightful experience all round. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. We had a garden view room which was wonderful with a comfy canopy bed. Yes it would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in room (see other reports), but it's available on room service and they were happy to provide us with a kettle. The restaurant is wonderful with a good menu... что говорят » and set in the large conservatory with adjoining terrace. The 'isolated location' mentioned by others is an asset. There are lovely countryside views - Just returned from a wonderful stay at this delightful Logis, located in beautiful countryside yet within ten minutes of towns and chateaux. The garden rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool and tennis court immaculately maintained. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Excellent food is served in a very inviting room and I'm already looking forward to returning.

  Comfortable rooms with good service. Nice pool for the kids and very good restaurant. Also the location is well choosen. - The staff were kind enough to keep the restaurant open late for us as wehad gotten lost and arrived late that evening. They helped us with themenu as it was of course in french. The place is brand new and hasbeautiful grounds.

  The staff was very friendly. We arrived on a Friday evening about 10 minutes after the hotel restaurant closed. However the clerk called over and they still gave us a table and prepared a delicious meal. The breakfast was basically a continental breakfast, but it was plenty to get the day started. I would have loved to use the spa but didn't have time. A beautiful setting and perfect for exploring The Loire - we'll be going back.

  Прекрасная возможность почувствовать себя современным троглодитом. Как рассказал владелец - название отеля выбрано неслучайно. (Троглодит- человек живущий в пещере. Оказывается в этой местности во Франции довольно много таких пещер из некоторых сделаны отели, а некоторые работают как музеи. Что касается Troglododo, это небольшой отель с номерам... что говорят » и расположенными в углублении скалы, очень уютными, с Wi-Fi и другими прелестями современной жизни, но всё же это пещера и сырость здесь присутствует - This is a very special place. Sleeping in a well-appointed cave was unusual, charming, comfortable and (welcome during a heatwave) cool. Beautiful bijou-garden setting, with interior design reflecting artistic flair of Alain, the very obliging and helpful host, who also served a superb breakfast. We would have disliked carrying our bags back up to the car parking space higher up the cliff, had not the Alain volunteered to do it for us. Apparently he is planning to install a lift within the next - This place is amazing - the rooms are luxurious (we especially loved the Victoria room, with its massive bathroom and shower), Alain is the most genial and interesting host. Breakfast is full of homemade treats - and good coffee! This is essentially a family home/estate which has been lovingly restored. The area and the town of Azay-le-Rideau are very beautiful, and convenient for visting wine producers too.
