  The staff were happy to help at all times, they recommended excellent local restaurants and facilities. The room (duplex apartment) was perfect for two adults and three young children (not babies as the kids bedroom is on a mezzanine with steep stairs) the apartment was well equipped and nice and clean. It was great value for money. (especially if compared with Chamonix and Argentieres). The cable car just oposite the hotel takes you to 1900 meters perfect for the untrained walkers, and perfect for those who seek easy panoramic walks with great views on the mont blanc range. Nice indoor pool. English speaking staff. A 10 min walk along the river takes you to the nearby farm/restaurant allowing you to leave the car parked all day.

  Great facilities, excellent location and can ski to the door. - The Amara/Amena was in general a nice new complex and the service was good. Good parking under the complex. Good access to slopes. Restaurants in the area quite good but a bit expensive. Le Lodge served a very nice lunch duck skewer.

As we were right at the end of the season they allowed us to check out after 5PM so we could shower after skiing before going to the airport. - Really good value, clean, ski lockers in basement, swimming pool, large common area, staff, cook in room facility.
