The view of the Seine is amazing (look out for the ocean going container ships which dwarf everything around them but pass by very quietly!), the thatched cottages are romantic, delightful and beautifully set out. Our apartment had a small fully equipped kitchen (which we didn't expect) with dishwasher, oven, fridge and microwave. The welcome; the "orangerie" room, as My Wife had recently had a hip operation and was still using sticks; the delicious meals and service; the gardens surrounded by old trees. The best hotel we have stayed in for a very long time - and we travel quite a lot! -

It was a tranquil restful place to stay. A lovely room in neutrals with excellent bathroom made us feel very relaxed.
