  As we have two very young children, we go for serviced apartments rather than hotels wherever possible these days. We had a three bed apartment (No 8). It was was modern, well-appointed, clean and quiet. We had unlimited access to the heated salt water infinity pool at La Reserve, which is truly stunning (note that they turn the heating off at abo... что говорят » ut 6pm). There is also a nice spa and gym. It is a great base for exploring the Cote. The Menton-Nice bus stop is in front of the building. The Beauli - Lovely appartment with very well equipped kitchen. felt instantly at home. good location. even the church which was opposite didnt pose a problem with bells ringing. whilst it is quite expensive overall I think its worth the money. The residence is opposite the hotel, so the hotel staff bring bags park car etc, all were very nice and efficient. Would recommend La residence to anyone

Special mentions to the concierges Patrick & Ferdinand, to JeanLouis the sommelier, Guillame the maitre d' and the musicians who entertain at night.   Stunning views from the room balcony. Liked the ambience of the hotel. The beach at Villefranche is awful and absolutely rammed with people as it is the only public beach for miles. Far better to use the hotels private beach across the bay. The decor of the room was sweet but a little dated as were the bathroom fitments. The breakfast at the hotel... что говорят » is vastly overpriced at 17 euros- far better to eat breakfast at one of the neighbouring cafes. - The hotel is in the best location with an excellent view from your balcony overlooking the harbour. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the room was very clean. Villefranche-sur-Mer is lovely and has a train station for travelling to Nice, Monaco etc.
