  Our room was spotlessly clean and decent facilities provided. We always like to find a bottle of water in the room, and we were not disappointed here. Although we arrived later than the time the reception closed, a telephone call (as arranged) brought the proprietor immediately.   The owners were very, very kind and caring, we had quite a nice chat in a mixture of English, German and a few words of French. The house is lovely with charming details everywhere and our room smelled beautifully of lavender. And the view of Obernai from the road down to the city is a must see. - Very friendly host

  This was the 2nd time I was at the Hotel de La Cloche. Last year I booked a room for two, this year I booked a room for three. The proprieter and his family are very friendly, the place is very clean and comfortable and at a fantastic location right in the centre of town. The price was very good. I recommend this hotel, and in fact passed their information on to a friedn who plans to travel soon in the Alsace region. - Delightful owners. Wonderful ambience in the low ceilinged rooms oozing of history. Very pleasant breakfast at extra cost. Recommendation as to where to dine was excellent though it is unusual that the restaurant of the same name as the hotel is to be stayed away from....but all ok once explained.

  The apartment was clean, newish looking and had plenty of space. It was cleaned every day during our stay too. The kitchenette was very useful with a good fridge and very efficient little hob.
