For a 2 star hotel this was a really pleasant surprise! We loved the hotel, the staff could not have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful. Our room was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. We would definately stay here again. Breakfast was traditional French continental style breakfast; exactly what we wanted.

close proximity to the railway station - Very good location, 5min to the Gare Part Dieu. Rooms are clean and not small. But the plastic bathroom (WC is also in there) is not comfortable and extremely small.

Location was terrific. Easy to walk to all the major tourist spots and
shops. Several streets with lots of restaurants very near on both sides
of the river. Staff very helpful. Great view of theatre - floodlit at
night - from our room which was huge with traditional furnishings. We
took breakfast which was handy and relaxing start to day and we thought
good value.
