Jean-Pierre and Maryse were wonderful hosts and gave us great directions and even a list of sites to see. They provided all we needed, including a baby bed for our 9 month old. Maryse and Jean-Pierre were very welcoming. The guest house was just what we needed as a stop over point on our way from Calais to Brittany. The location is close to Bayeaux and Arramanche. We were able to visit Bayeaux the afternoon we arrived and the beach and Museum at Arramanche the following morning before setting off for Brittany. A lovely breakfast of bread, coffee, croissants etc

This was a perfect location for touring the Normandy area and D-Day beaches etc. This beautiful old chateau is located in the gorgeous countryside very close to the city of Bayeux so it's an easy trip to dinner, the train station, and other sights in the area. David and his partner have restored the chateau with great care and great taste! Marc and Sylvie were the most charming and friendly hosts during my short stay. Although no English was spoken, communication was never a problem, and they went out of their way to assist wherever possible. -
