  If you do not plan to spend a lot of time in hotel and have a car, this hotel is an excellent choice! It has a free parking and it is located right net to ski rental shop. Also it is only 15 minute drive away from Chamonix ski lifts.   The hotel facilities were great, in particular the pool (quite deep so excellent for kids to dive in) and the sauna (much appreciated after a day of skiing). The food was wonderful with a different array of dishes every night for the buffet dinner.   Sandra, the owner, couldn't do enough for you. One of the most happy and helpful propreiters I have ever come across and on more than one occasion Sandra went above and beyond the call of duty for my group. Very impressive lady with a big heart.   Nice, calm location in the Chamonix valley, with great views to the surrounding mountains. Bus stop within a few minutes walk to access the whole valley, restaurants within 15, a supermarket within 25 minutes. The room is nice and clean, definitely better than what the one-star rating would suggest.   It is a new chalet, decorated and equipped very nicely. The family that run the place is exteremly nice and plesant. They spend extenssive time providing us with detailed information on the region and very helpful tips on hiking etc. It was a great experience and i warmly recommend it.
