  What is not to like about this place. David was an excellent host. His attention to dental re the room and bathroom was first class. The terrace outside our room to sit and have a quite drink, was an added bonus. - Very helpful en hospital host, clean and nice accommodation, good breakfast.

  I was lucky enough to have a room with a view over the beautiful river Loire, with the bridge illuminated at night and the general beauty of Saumur on display. We booked at the last minute, so we didn't have much of a choice of rooms so, unfortunately, my friend got a room at the back of the hotel - which, although very comfortable, had a far les... что говорят » s inspiring view (I would like to say, in my defence, that she lives in France and volunteered to take the short straw, being more able to visit Saumu - As mentioned in a previous review, we wondered about the stairs problem but don't know what the fuss is about - we are both in our mid-60's and didn't find the stairs at all difficult. Anyway, the very helpful manager insisted with helping with luggage. There is plenty of public parking at very little cost immediately outside the hotel and the location is ideal for exploring the centre of Saumur on foot. Good location with only a short walk over two bridges to the town center. Great location to explore the Loire Valley.
