  The hotel is great because it is friendly and clean and our room had a great view of the roof tops. La Marais is a very interesting and atmospheric location. It is easy to access the Seine and other places of interest. We especially enjoyed the Jewish quarter and the falafels. Stayed one night in the double comfort and one night in the double standard - only difference was a slightly larger bed in the comfort. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly.   I could not fault this hotel. It was great value for Paris. It's not luxury, but it had everything I needed. The water was always hot. The room was well heated. Everything was spotlessly clean.   I stayed 12 nights with my son and grandson. Although we were 3 males we thought the hotel suited our requirements exactly. It was clean, convenient to "life", the metro, walking and some nice restaurants. Mr Didier and Isabelle together with Lenka at the front desk and the other staff made us very welcome and helped us when we needed it.   Fabulous place! The staff couldn't be better; and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He is in the process of doing the place up; and we had the privilege of staying in one of the newly decorated rooms. It was fresh and so clean; and seemed much bigger than the pictures on the web. Although we never used it, there is access to a computer, - On my arrival the hotel owner/manager was very friendly & helpful. The location is excellent; between 2 major railway stations Gare Du Nord & Gare De L'Est, easy walk to magnificent Sacre Cœur, & funky Montmatre & close to Blvd Poissonnere (live theatre & shows). The Metro is very close too but I didn't use it as evrything I needed or wanted to do was nearby.
