The location is fantastic. I flew into CDG, caught the train to gar de nord and then the hostel is a very short walk up rue de dunkerque. Then further up the street is the pigalle and sacre couer just above that.
Breakfast was good, plus there are supermarkets on the same street and you can cook your own food at the hostel. Wifi is free, staff are friendly.
If you're prepared to accept that it's a budget option and don't expect the ritz it's a great choice. I fully intend to return.

This was an amazingly beautiful hotel - exceptionally clean and the theme was SO much fun. Love hearts everywhere, purple and red decor... It felt really special. The staff were wonderful and I was thrilled with our room. It was cozy and very comfortable but also fun and exciting.
The breakfast was very very good for such a small hotel and the location was fabulous, right under Sacre Coeur and the art district.

In a wonderfully vibrant area of the city, the hotel was everything I expected. Amazing and opulent furnishings/decor - and absolutely perfect for the romantic get-away at the end of a busy day in Paris. - kind and friendly staffs,clean and comfortable room,original decoration, the area seems a bit unsafe at night though... highly recommendable!!

We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Lafayette very much. Location is excellent - just a mere moment from Gare du Nord in a quiet side street. I imagine it may be a bit far from the centre to some people but the metro is just 2 min away and it will take you to Louvre in 10 mins. travellers. Location, 5 minutes walking from Poissoniere metro
station and 10 minutes leisurely walking to the Opera Garnier and
Galeries Lafayette. Great!

Тихий, уютный отель, удобно расположен, приветливый персонал, чисто убирают в номерах. - Обильный завтрак, свежайшая выпечка, удобная постель, чистая, хотя и тесная ванная и относительная тишина ночью, несмотря на близость к вокзалу. И, конечно, местоположение - до метро и вокзала подать рукой.

Staff very friendly - The room and ensuite were newly refurbished in an interesting arty style and bright colours, which I liked. The room seemed so new, as if I was the first person to stay in it! Hopefully it will age well. The hotel is in a sidestreet, so not too much traffic noise, but very convenient for Gare du Nord.
