  It is the first time I have stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world and the description of the hotel and facilities have been accurate. A very enjoyable stay and the food was excellent. - We only stayed one night however the hotel building, an old abbey isamazing and rooms and staff to a very high standard. Great Deal thanks!

  A little more expensive than the normal stop over venue for a night but delivered on a room for 2 adults and 2 children (which seems difficult at some rival hotels) had the space, comfort and extra of a heated swimming pool and late check out to allow this to be enjoyed.   A great overnight stop.The couple who run this hotel were extremely helpful and spoke very good English. The hotel was spotlessly clean and looked as if it had been recently refurbished. Our room was a good size. The hotel is well located, 10 minutes walk to the town, and has free on-street parking outside. Stayed for 2 nights Sunday and Monday and managed to find a few restaurants open on both nights. Many wooden clad medieval buildings are to be found throughout the town.
