  A real gem and very good value. We stayed for one night at the end of October en route to Annecy and the Jura region. To begin with the hotel was very easy to find (a few minutes from the centre of Dole) and there is ample free parking. It is a very cosy hotel and our superior double room was very comfortable with a very modern en suite. The food was exquiste, delicious and a feast - The quality of the overall design which welcomed without overwhelming and in the dining room was especially well judged. The owner/manageress was incredibly welcoming and helpful; the restaurant was fabulous; the location in the heart of Auxonne was lovely and the price was fantastic. It's obviously not a luxury hotel at that price but it was absolutely charming and just what we needed after a long drive from England.
