I think we ended up in the room for those with a disability so no carpet and a wet room rather than conventional bathroom but it was fine for an overnight stop on the way home. - Our room was enormous.   Room is comfortable. As others have said it is opposite the G.H. Mumm cellars (which are expensive and commerical FYI) - but that is about all its near. It is a 15 minute walk to town (and the restaurants), and a 10 minute walk to the supermarket. This didn't bother us at all though.   The hotel appeared to either have been completely renovated, or was new. The room was immaculate and gave the impression of having been never, or rarely, used.
