The owner didn't speak a lot of English, but he spoke enough for us to get by, and he was so kind, hospitable, and accommodating! He made us fresh breakfast in the morning (not just pastries from the local bakery). The pension is just a few steps away from the castle. Along the street, there are a number of restaurants. Hence finding food is definitely not a challenge. It's not just renovated building with modern and luxury furniture, but all the small details and accessories (e.g. slippers, wine glasses with corkscrew, umbrella, bathroom accessories...) really make you feel like home. I think it is a reasonable solution. The value of this place is i - Everything, from the outside it does not look that special, but appearances can be deceiving. Inside it is wonderful, really well planned with great touches. Lovely whirlpool bath and great fittings in the loo. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the location is great for the city, as long as you don't mind a few steps (80) to the town. There is a slightly longer route without steps if required. However the city is wonderful and worth the short walk.

  This is a wonderful hotel located in the heart of the city, right off the pedestrian zone. With that said, do not attempt to the front door. Turn into a parking area through the "Red Gate" and you will find stairs in the far left corner leading to the hotel. Parking is about 200m from the hotel because of the hotels great location.
