The location is perfect, just 10 min walk away from Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, you can also find subway and bus quite easily around there.
The cafe bar is really nice, good place to meet friends.
Beds are pretty comfortable, I stayed in a 14 bed dorm, quite a big room, not crowded at all. The A/C works well, hot water 24 hrs, and oh! the bar opens 24 hrs as well, which is a bonus!
The price is quite reasonable in Beijing, esp at central area.

Really like the place, real Beijing feel. -
By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis.
For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.

We arrived in Beijing at 1am in the morning but due to difficulties with
the taxi driver finding the street this hotel was on we didn't
actually check in until 2.30am. The neon/lighted sign outside the
hotel does not read "Beijing Jinxiu Courtyard Hotel" in the
english written section however the chinese section does have that name

I stayed in this hostel with 2 of my friends, so we rented a 3 beds only room and it was good enough for us. I think this place is good for travellers. Great staff, always responded to the call for help, we even call me back on the other side of Beijing and people were looking for information for us to intereneite later pepezvanivali. The price was super cheap, the service and amenities were far beyond the price! I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. There were several English speaking employees which was very helpful. The hotel is situated in a very nice are, within walking distance to the Square and Forbidden City. -

We thought the staff, Xiao wei and Gu jie, were excellent. They were tremendously helpful to us and very friendly and caring.
It was very close to the main attractions of Beijing but in a very quiet area. We felt very safe.
