I stayed during my business trip, and everything was almost perfect.
Free shuttle service to Canton Fair and back, very good breakfast
(although I'm vegan, I surprisingly had plenty of options, different
fruits every day, and good coffee). Nice and big rooms with all the
facilities ever needed during a short stay. Friendly staff. Location in

Two Macs in the lobby -
Check in staff were warm and friendly and treat customers on a personal note.
The location is central to shopping and digital plaza. Ideal for the dotcoms.
Rooms well equipped and really it felt like home away from home.
Breakfast was well presented,but little choice for the vegetarian .
The sauna/jacuzzi and steam room a little disappointing as no towels are provided and no attendants in the spa centre.

I just loved the whole time while staying at Oakwood. They try there
best to cater for western cultures. There staff were just so helpful.
The cost of drinks in the hotel bar were a little expensive but
that's what you expect in an outstanding hotel. I have travelled the

Easy and cheap (19RMB) travelling by cab from Guangzhou East Railway Station - especially if arriving or leaving at night.
Large variety of places to eat outside hotel.
Short bus ride to Canton Fair.
Washing facilities(need instructions for use in English though).
English was well spoken by front end staff.
Comfortable beds!!

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment, it had all the facilities for a family or couple who prefer to do their own cooking and washing. The apartment was very clean and the staff were excellent. We had breakfast a couple of times and that was also excellent. This residence should have 10star rating it was fantastic. -

stand for chinese cuisine everyday. Washing mashine, iron...it has
everything. Wifi is ok. Staff is speaking english and is oriented to

Its perfect for some one who is looking for modern amenities and
little away from craziness of a hotel.
- Apartments are clean and tidy, with all basic amenities.
- Staff is very friendly; as every where in China English might be a problem but staff at reception is extremely helpful.
- Check in process is extremely simple.
- 24Hrs convenience store and coffee shop about 1 minute walk.

The hotel is located in the best part of Guangzhou. Near have lots of good western restaurants, shoppings and places to visit like the canton tower. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Offered us drinks while we waited for our room to be cleaned because we came a bit early. Helped us find our way around town and recommended places to eat/see and how to get there. Also helped us find our way to Shenzhen to visit family. Also the washer machine broke while we were using it and they apologized and offered us a new room if we needed it. Rooms were spacious and clean. Free milk, buns and fruit were given daily too!
