Staff of the hotel not only provide great service as their duty, but
they put effort with the heart and intelligence. Especially people from
open kitchen restaurant.
What I remember most of all - I had some low speed internet problems and complained about that. In 2 minutes (!!) I had a router installed directly in my room.. -

The staff is exceptional -- all spoke English, even the maid. All wentout of their way to be friendly and helpful and gracious. We added on ahalf day, since our flight didn't leave til evening, and the maid camein and made up the room with fresh towels and everything while we wereat lunch. I was in town for attending Canton Fair. Well organized free shuttle service to the Fair.
Made a special request for early check in at 10am which was granted without any extra fees.

Hotel staff were attentive. Rooms were clean. I can say its the best and most respectable hotel in Guangzhou. Shopping malls nearby, good Italian and Turkish restaurants 10 mins away. I loved everything about Shangri-La; although abit on the expensive side but worth it. The hotel is the grandest I have ever visited, the service is excellent and has lived up to its 5-star status. Loved every minute of it and cant wait to re-visit. -
