  I was in town for attending Canton Fair. Well organized free shuttle service to the Fair. Made a special request for early check in at 10am which was granted without any extra fees. Very nice swimming pool. Overall truly 5 star hotel. - Very good hotel in French style with great breakfast commparing with other places in China!   I loved everything about Shangri-La; although abit on the expensive side but worth it. The hotel is the grandest I have ever visited, the service is excellent and has lived up to its 5-star status.   It was about 50 metres to a large modern shopping centre, Takoo Hui Shopping Mall. Which had a wonderful food court, super market, etc. The Hotel served a top breakfast. Excellent rooms, and helpful staff. Would stay there on my next visit, and would recommend it to anyone.   Hotel rooms are genally clean,staff speasks good english and is helpful ,the price was fair for what the hotel offers .the pool is big enough to enjoy a nice swim after a long work day. For an Arabic person with the first time in Guangzhou or China ,the location is excelent as it lies close to many arabic restaurants with many people whom speaks A... что говорят » rabic and might help you in what you seek ,once you are familiar with Guangzhou ,Zhonshan Ba Lu is a better place to stay in ,quieter and cleaner ,and - I stayed for 2 days in a ex suite with my wife the room was a very high standard of cleanliness and all the usual ammeneties you'd expect of a 4star establishement the breakfast was a good standard but felt with the buffet the food could have been randomly changed more often to keep it looking a little more fresher to the eye but above all else the staff took time out to always make you feel welcome bless
