Staff were friendly and accommodating. The front desk clerk tried her
best to communicate effectively in English and would use her dictionary
to facilitate the process. For those traveling to Shanghai, I suggest
learning a few key words and phrases in mandarin that could prove
useful. Words such as deposit, bus fee, check-in, check-out, and so on

A staff member also escorted me to my room took my bags. The room was very clean, neat, and spacious. -
The staff were friendly and helpful and despite the lack english they organised bus to airport etc for me. The restaurant is good and open quite late.

Nice hotel with good rooms and good beds. Very good to stay at if you are planning to fly the next morning. The free shutte bus will just take 5 minutes to the airport. Very convenient for Pudong airport transfers. Room was very comfortable and well kitted out with kettle and variety of toiletries. There is a treadmill on site, free and fast Internet, and free shuttle that goes to the airport regularly. Lifts are very quick despite 9 floors of rooms. Doormen are excellent at helping ith cabs if you can't speak Chinese.

There was shuttle bus at every half hours from the hotel to the airport and the subway the first station is at the airport so the connection to the subway is so convenient. Subway reaches evry nice point of shanghai so the we consider the location is also nice. -

W stayed just one night in this gloriously comfortable hotel which was close to the airport for our onward flight. We ate vegetarian food in one of the private rooms in the Royal China restaurant and it was extraordinary and incredibly good value at £18 for several courses for both of us. Luxurious Rooms, Awesome Restaurant, Staff was extremely attentive. We had a wonderfull stay. Short taxi ride from pvg airport,shopping mall at the back of the hotel
and easy walk to busy shopping areas.Great room service, excellent
