The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals. Would like to receive any promotional rates email

The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. The food was excellent!

Wow what a fabulous place. I couldn't believe how big our suite was, more like an apartment.We had a full kitchen as well. The seating area was really comfortable and we had views over the harbour. The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

We loved the food and the company! Paula was a great hostess and a wonderful chef - the breakfasts were delicious! Being gluten-free, I really appreciated her efforts to accommodate and give me special treats. Nice view of the marina, quiet location, good beds, nice bathroom, decent fridge, nice balcony with chairs, outdoor area with picnic tables. Smoking is permitted on balconies, so that is a plus or minus depending on your preference. Easy walk to all amenities.

Everything you need is there. The room is very cozy and clean. The bathroom looks very new. The whole place is very spacious for a couple. It would be perfect for longer stay as there's full kitchen in the suite and washing machine and drier which was very handy after being in the rain.
