  First and foremost, the staff treated us excellently. We had a problemwith our first room, it had a smell like someone had been smoking. Thestaff checked vacancies and moved us to an upgrade without hesitation,then followed up to make sure we were happy in our new surroundings.   We live in Vancouver and visit Whistler frequently. We like the location of the Chateau as it is at the base of Blackcomb and away from the late night noise of the Village. At the same time, it is only a 10 minute walk into town to access all that it has to offer. My wife and I love the Mallard Lounge late at night for a drink by the fire. It's one of those moments when we f - I loved the room, entrance and friendliness of the staff! It was so nice to see how dog friendly your hotel was. I would love to come back for a night and possibly being my dog next time. We got a very fair price on the room and would come up for the same price again. My boyfriend and I for engaged over the weekend as we were walking back to the hotel and a staff member brought is to the lounge for a glass of sparkling wine which was very nice. We loved the outdoor hot tub and pool.

  I loved the beautiful location. It is so tranquil. The bath tub is so easy and safe to get out of, which is really saying something for a senior. Seafood dishes were excellent!! - Was there for my brothers wedding. Service was excellent, beautiful setting. Wonderful staff, good food.

  I like the location and facilities of the resort. The personal are very warm and friendly. I love the view and the pool.The rooms are clean and nice. The resort is located just by the lake and it has a very nice restaurant that has delicious foods with a reasonable price. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas complete with visit from Santa. The suite was warm, clean and nicely furnished.
