I loved everything , the b and b is gorgeous , beautiful setting , lovely breakfast . I have never been anywhere where I have felt so welcome. Jeanie the owner is a lovely , warm and special person , she came in and cooked the most lovely breakfast, fritata , bacon , granola croissants , fresh fruit salad , yoghurts , just perfect. The bedroom was so comfortable , imagine everything you love about Canada , warm welcome , log built lodge , great tasty food , beautiful and special setting looking.
все обзоры » This bed and breakfast was a dream.It is situated high above the town of Golden with a breath-taking view of the mountains. You can book a room or the entire house if you have a group of friends or family getting together. Jeannie, the owner is a charming hostess who welcomes you as if you were family. Our suite was beautiful and spacious with a balcony over-looking the mountains. Breakfast was a delicious frittata with bacon and croissants. You could have cereal, muesli and yogurt and fresh fr. The oweners were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Facilities were rustic, cozy, clean and exactly as described. The services provided and breakfast was amazing! More than we could have asked for. Such a neat place with great people. We loved that its a family oriented atmosphere generated towards people just spending time with one another. Jeannie is the best host we have come accross in our travels... like having your very own concierge, chef and friend inhouse. We enjoyed the spa, talking to other guests and the Alpine river rafting in kicking horse canyon which Jeannie helped us book has been the highlight of our trip. The Host Jannie was Very helpful and did go out of her way to help us. Her Breakfast is fabulous and I think it is better then any of our other stay in Canadian Rockies. Must stay here if you are staying in Golden area. Very quiet and peaceful area. We saw Deer on property. Very friendly lady owner, greeted us with drinks & cookies. Fleece bedding was fantastic, sauna very relaxing & fantastic to see a doe & her baby in the garden. Breakfast was mammoth & set us up for the day. Jeannie's frittata was a masterpiece. Atmosphere - Jeannie is an outstanding hostess who makes everyone feel at home and very welcome. The breakfasts were great and it was lovely to be round the table with people from all over the world. Nothing was too much trouble. our host was very friendly, and the cooking she did was great!! i recommend staying just for the breakfast! not to mention everything else! wonderful time, wonderful host, wonderful place and a wonderful time!! thanks Jeannie. A very nice place to stay! We enjoyed the hot tub with mountain view in the garden for relaxing after a day of hiking. The breakfast was the best on our 3 week Canada trip. It is a place where you really feel home away from home (I know this is a worn-out slogan, however in this case it indeed seems to be my best description). The comfort and quiet of the place, the gracious hostess, the cleanliness, the beautiful surroundings.The referral with discount to excellent restaurant. The whole thing was great,Jeanie was friendly, helpful and a great hostess/cook. Nothing , everything was just perfect in every way . There were no negatives only positives with our stay. Found it difficult to locate after a long tiring day on the road & no sat nav! Jeannie has a dog, no problem for we dog lovers but may be for others. Lots of bugs outside, but the time of year. Nothing-we loved it all!. Nothing. Things I didn't like? It's impossible to find any of those here!. sharing a bathroom can sometimes be somewhat of an inconvience. Nothing. It's a bit of a drive from Golden when you don't know where you're going but host gave great directions. The price was a little bit expensive!.
