  I was a bit worried, after reading some negative reviews here, but the hotel was actually quite good, for Rio standards at least. The standard room I had needed some redecorating for sure, but it was very spacious and had a fantastic city view. I was up on the 18th floor, so it was not noisy at all, but it might be more for the lower floors.
