  What an amazing place to stay for a holiday! The first pousada to be founded in Trancoso about 28 years ago by a couple whose grown children (Joanna and Ian) now virtually run the place. We had deluxe rooms at a very reasonable rate compared to the pousadas located directly on the beaches nearby. We were in walki - A family owned operation who run an exceptional Pousada. The attention to detail was incredible, especially the strategically placed vases of stunning tropical flowers placed in our room and all around the Pousada. Afternoon tea that was provided was a very special touch. Great value.

The position is just perfect, close to the 'segunda praia' (you can walk there along the beach or take the free hourly jeep from the pousada) but laying in between the quiet and stunning 3rd and 4th beaches.
