  Although this was a 3* hotel and the photos available of the hotel were limited, upon arrival i was very pleasantly surprised by all aspects. Room was large and clean, A/C worked a treat, a large and clean en suite, comfortable beds and friendly staff who went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay.   The welcome at the front desk and the contact with all of the staff was excellent. Extremely helpful and provided suggestions as to the museums we should visit. Don't miss the "National History Museum". The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and very welcoming. Room was bigger than I expected.   Very happy with our experience in this hotel. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom had bidet and a bathtub!!! VERY difficult to find in Brazil. There are also a swimming pool, a sport center and a sauna available, all very clean and well kept. Breackfast is outstanding!! It looked as it were lunch as well: fruits, juices, differents type... что говорят » s of cakes and sweet dishes, different types of bread and cold meat, and hot dishes: bacon, eggs, hamburgers, etc. Never saw such a complete breakfast - The room size is great, very spacious. The breakfast is very well served with plenty of variety and excellent quality, the sweets are particularly delicious.

  I found the staff to be approachable and helpful. The ocean view room was terrific - great view of Copacabana Beach. Plus, we allowed a late check out because our flight home left in the evening.   I loved my stay at Mirador Rio Hotel. The staff is awesome. Very corteous and friendly. Specil kudos to Thiago and staff at front desk. Great location; three blocks from the beach if you ae traveling under a budget. Breakfast is great! You can't miss their Pao de Queijo! (cheese balls!) Waiters also rock! and Ton, bar tender is a Carioca-Nordeste ... что говорят » character! Also athousand thanks to Monica who helped us change our reservation! - I was there for carnival. The Hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach, could have been closer but cant complain weather was really good. The reception staff was very helpful in getting information of stuff happening in the city. Overall a pleasant stay

Our room (number 404) was refurbished recently; the sea view was gorgeous; the breakfast very good.
