  I'm normally sceptical about ratings from other people & this place has a very high score - but I agree with the majority. The owner, Michel, has set up the place with a simple and elegant balance between medieval & contemporary - very nice . . . and very clean! The breakfast was fresh & tasty with a couple of unique elements. Michel - This B&B is really exceptional. The house is four hundred years old but has been lovingly restored by Michel, the owner, and is now very comfortable indeed with a great bed. The location is amazing - directly opposite the extensive, exquisite and peaceful 13th century Begijnhof (a sort of village within a town), but just a 10 minute walk right into the centre of Leuven which is a lively and happy university town, or a 5 minute walk to the river and walks in the forest. We ate breakfast outside in the beautiful garden and it was a lot of fun. As we flew into Brussels late in the evening this was the perfect choice.

  Perfect place to stay. The hosts were charming, friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay in their home. They are justifiably very proud of their town and eagerly share their knowledge and love of it. Tea, coffee and water freely available all day and beer, wine and soft drinks at cheap prices. Highly recommended by us and we will stay there again.
