  The staff were friendly welcoming and helpful, the room was well laid out. The food was out of this world and cook to perfection, not often my husband is completely satisfied but he was here. - Very high value for money, excellent comfort, very friendly people

  Arriving at the hotel on Wednesday with my husband was delightful, I hadthe flu and could not have gone anywhere better. This is a wonderfulplace to stay which we will certainly be returning to. - It felt like a home away from home. The interiors were exquisite and the attention to detail in all areas of the operation was first rate. A class act.

  the hotel was tucked away in poperinge near Ypres and was quite delightful. The rooms were very nice with excellent bathrooms. The 4 course set meal was delicious and good value for money.   We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of accommodation at the Hotel Amfora which met all our needs perfectly. The room was delightfully spacious with lovely decor. Situated in the main town square this hotel is ideally situated. The position on Grote Markt is excellent and plenty of warm sunshine meant we could eat and drink on the terrace/pavement tables. The room was a great size and the bathroom was also a good size.

  From the moment I arrived I felt special. That feeling remained throughout my all too short visit.The location, an easy walk from the train station, is central to everything Poperinge offers. I was there the two nights that the restaurant is closed, but other guests gave it high marks. The beds and chairs are very comfortable. I will return with my wife who is picky, but will love this hotel and it's owners. - I was visiting with a friend & my son & stayed in the suite which was ideal with two rooms. The purpose of our trip was to visit the ww1 sites & the holel was in a lovely situation overlooking the town square with many other bars & restuarants available to relax after our visits. Hotel spotless & friendly well situated for the bus stop & train station with late trains from Eiper. The food served in the restuarnt was superb as was the service. Would certainly return.

  We stayed in the Gastenkamers (B&B) which were just up the road from the hotel itself. The room was charming and very large with an ingenious "fold-out" balcony.   THere was a really nice relaxed and friendly bar in the hotel with nice beers. The room was very clean and comfortable and the showeroom and toilet very nicely decorated. Good shower. We enjoyed being quite high up in the eaves. Breakfast room was beautifully decorated and relaxing and we ate very well. We parked in one of the many carparks - the town is really very nice. - The owners were very friendly and helpful, the rooms spotless, bright and quiet; similarly the bathroom. Beds provided a good night's sleep. Parking outside on a Sunday evening was easy and free. The town itself is lovely and a great place either to stop for the historic sites or en route before or after crossing the Channel. We will certainly stay there again.
