  It was a fun place to stay with exceptionally nice staff. The room was quiet and well-equipped and the breakfast was excellent. It was so quiet at night that we thought we were the only guests but breakfast was bustling with a full house. The room is spacious and elegantly appointed. The bath is brand new and luxurious. Ann is a gracious and helpful host. The guest house is beautifully situated in, we discovered, probably the nicest part of Bruges. This is one of the very best places we have ever stayed at.

  We felt at home at this beautiful B and B thanks to our hosts. They were more than accommodating making my elderly mother comfortable in her stay, and special attention to my alergies.   We had an outstanding experience. Our hostess could not have been more helpful and considerate. The baked goods were delicious, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and convenient (we were able to return for lunch on two days) and the opportunity to park (in and out free) was a pleasant surprise.

  The 1669 is basically excellent. Rooms were spacious, with a large comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were large and well equipped. Breakfast was superb, all the produce was organic.
