  This is a great place to stay -- location, hosts, room and bath, service. I can recommend this BandB without reservation. The photos do not do the rooms justice. The room is spacious and elegantly appointed. The bath is brand new and luxurious. Ann is a gracious and helpful host. The guest house is beautifully situated in, we discovered, probably the nicest part of Bruges. This is one of the very best places we have ever stayed at.

  We had an outstanding experience. Our hostess could not have been more helpful and considerate. The baked goods were delicious, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and convenient (we were able to return for lunch on two days) and the opportunity to park (in and out free) was a pleasant surprise.

  The 1669 is basically excellent. Rooms were spacious, with a large comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were large and well equipped. Breakfast was superb, all the produce was organic. The ability to have a late breakfast and being able to keep our luggage in the room after check out. It was so quiet at night that we thought we were the only guests but breakfast was bustling with a full house.
