  From our initial booking to our arrival our contact with Dirk and his help in answering our travel query was very well answered. Dirk is a very welcoming and knowledgeable host. The apartment is accessed by lift and as the apartment is on the 3rd floor it has the best views. Dirk has supplied good travel information about Gent in the apartment and if you have any queries he is more than he - The studio was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had everything, including candles for a candle-lit supper. Lovely view of the abbey and garden from the front windows and a small balcony on the back. Bus stop was a 2-minute walk. Great natural foods store less than a 10-minute walk. Our host, Dirk, was very accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

  Ann was terrific. She is an attentive host. We had been traveling for several straight days and needed to do laundry. She would not hear of that since it would take away our sightseeing, so she did our laundry for us! The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was enormous, and the breakfast excellent.
