  Room decor outstanding and very comfortable. Traditional Austrian style with gorgeous woodwork throughout. Cost was very reasonable for such a beautiful place. The views of the surrounding mountains and lake are breathtaking, although from this location they are interrupted by other buildings. Fresh trout - Friendly staff who spoke English fairly well, a clean room with a partial view of the water and town (and the next building) and a great restaurant downstairs. They also offer (included in room) a good breakfast of cheeses, breads yogurt and cereal, etc.

  The entire staff were super friendly - from the reception, the restaurant waiters, to the room keepers. We even had the lucky chance to meet the owner while he was playing the piano in the hotel den, and he was also super friendly. He even graciously invited us to his rehearsal. When my son missed his lunch at a restaurant in St. W - I stayed two nights at this hotel and couldn't have been more pleased. I stayed in a surprisingly large "single" room, with a "sideview" of the lake. The room was pleasant and supplied with all amenities, and I particularly enjoyed having a comfortable spot for my netbook; Their wifi connection was excellent. The dining room and terraces and other lounge areas were lovely and relaxing, and I was fortunate enough to have unseasonably warm weather and loved sitting outdoors enjoying the view. Bre

  My wife, our four children and I stayed at Pension Wolfgangsee for four nights in July 2013 and really loved it. We were fortunate enough to have the two room apartment and it was the perfect size for our family. The owners were very nice and went out of their way to help us in any way they could. Owners/staff are all very friendly, breakfast is amazing, so much choice, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large balcony. We would definately stay there again.

Obertraun is away from the main tourist rush, with a variety of lovely old houses. The house owner offered us attentive help (print of local maps, suggestion on walking route )and considarate service (the breakfast is best one on our whole trip, thankfully, the warm water for drinking, which is so important for Chinese ), Everything makes us feel at home .

  Where to start???? There are so many great quality items that make this a wonderful place to stay, and great value for what you experience. Every staff member had a very pleasant personality. Cleanliness, decor and breakfast were exceptional. We stayed in the apartment with small kitchen option. Close to freeway, McD, and a Kabap take out. The layout and furniture was also very good, modern and comfortable. staff was very nice and friendly and the babies/kids facilities (baby cot, playground etc.) were very nice. The view from the windows was of nice nature and green hills. Located close to main roads, but anyway silent and peaceful. Shopping and cities easily reachable by car, within just a few minutes drive.
