  The staff couldn't do enough for you. Whatever you needed they were there to advise or point you in the right direction.   I sort of fell into the Holzerwirt after a B&B that I had booked did not work out. I booked for one night but stayed an extra night because it was so lovely. Big, comfortable single room in a location in an old stone building it felt like I had air conditioning, which was great because it was brutal hot. I will be back! - This was a wonderful hotel. We booked this hotel at the last minute and only stayed one night because of our schedule, but would have stayed longer if we could. The staff was extremely helpful getting us directions to the places we wanted to go, and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

  We had a lovely large triple room, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, warm and comfy, lovely large bathroom, great breakfast, within easy walking distance of the centre of Salzburg and 2 minutes to the train station, unassuming and friendly multi-lingual staff, fast checkout. Even the kitchen staff was great. The breakfast was good (but get there early to get a taste of everything). The room was very nice and clean.
