  The room was beautiful and had an amazing view of Salzburg which was not that obvious to us from the description of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful but not overbearing or snobby like in some other higher end hotels. The staff and owners were particularly friendly and helpful. - Although the location of the hotel was away from the city centre and quite a hike if you walk from the last bus stop it is well worth the effort to get there even if you are without a car. It was a pleasant change from staying in a city and the view of the snowcapped alps from the room added to the experience
