Rooms were very tastefully decorated and staff were more than willing to share in the history of the hotel. Originally booked a verandah room, but staff made the change to a downstairs room when they saw our age.
Old world charm, very chatty & friendly bar staff. Food good & wines, great fire in bar dining area. Bedrooms warm & comfortable but bathrooms need updating. Good value.

The beautiful old hotel, high ceilings, period furniture, comfy bed, excellent food, lovely hosts and the sweetest border collie.
Great location right in the town. Hotel has bikes for rent to do one or more of the fantastic bike tracks along the wineries.

The Stables room is very spacious with adequate kitchen and can accommodate 4. It is comfortable rustic accommodation in the centre of Rutherglen. Good value.
