Check in was very smooth and the information provided was excellent. I contacted the manager to arrange a slightly later checkout as we were meeting friends for lunch. He checked and as there were no new bookings for that night we were able to leave our belongings and collect them after our lunch which was most generous and helpful -

Check in and check out very easy. Convenient to supermarkets for grocery shopping and it was good to have a kitchen which included a dishwasher.

The location was fantastic for exploring Melbourne - close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel pool was beautiful and I really enjoyed swimming there during my stay. Buffet breakfast was included in my room rates and the choices were plentiful and a great way to start our day.Overall, I was happy with my stay.

Melbourne is not a cheap city for accommodation and the price on letsbookhotel.com was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, even when we arrived at 2am due to a delay in our flight. The room was well sized, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in the CBD and close to the main part of town, and only a short walk or tram ride from everything else. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

We loved the location as we were able to catch a tram to the city and walk to South Yarra and Chapel Street. We were also surrounded by wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The staff at The Lyall were so friendly and we felt very welcomed. We also had a beautiful room . -

This was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were very clean and the Reception at the front desk was more than hospitable, very accomodating!

Great location for my purposes. Good on site parking at reasonable rates. Rooms are comfortable and nicely re-furbished.

We really like the location of the hotel and the ease at which you can connect to many of the city's attractions via walking or using the other transportation services available. A great location handy to the airport,,which is what we were looking for. Happy hour at the bar was great, with the staff treating all the guests that were there as part of the family. There was no hesitation from staff when we told them that we needed the courtesy bus to the airport at 4:30am. Room was comfy, clean and was exactly what we needed. Wife enjoyed the in-room spa

Comfy 1 bedroom apartments. Great to have large bed with 2 mattresses joined so that one does not interrupt others sleep. Lounge spacious. Pool/gym was adequate. Great breakfast deal. Wonder staff at breakfast. Staff helpful at front desk.
