  We enjoyed a relaxing week in a beautifully 2 bedroom apartment. (All apartments have been renovated excellent shower and very comfortable beds) Difficult to fault any aspect of our stay. The owners are very friendly and would do anything to help,(Family Business) the location is excellent close to everything. We will be back for another getaway ... что говорят » in the near future and would highly recommend Hervey Bay Colonial Lodge to family and friends. 10/10 - Kay,Peter and Michael were very friendly and helpful.We were scheduled to stay 3 nights ,but had to extend our stay by 2 more days ,as we were "trapped ' there due to the roads north and south being flooded following the aftermath of Cyclone Oswald. They kept us up to date with reports on road closures etc and local information. Excellent accommodation for good value and wifi included at no extra cost. Henry & Karen Doyle from the uk

  Every morning I enjoyed waking up by bird singing instead of alarm clock. We felt like sleeping in the rainforest like "AVARTAR" movie. We enjoyed everything there. - The hosts were absolutely fabulous at this B & B. Personal assistance with advice on local features & touring, use of their reference library, readiness to book us onto tours and dining, and their willingness to provide a breakfast to suit individual requests. Free tea / coffee etc at any time, bird watching scopes on tripods available. The hosts could not have done any more to ensure we had a wonderful time.

  Location, trollies in the basement made it easy to transfer luggage to & from your apartment. very helpful staff & the wine & chocolates were a nice touch. - Excellent location for the beach. View from 3rd floor was amazing! Plenty of places to have lunch/ dinner. 3 bedrooms apartment were provided with nice furnishing.

Would definitely stay there again. - Good value for money, centrally located a block or so back from the beach in the centre of town. Huge well appointed apartments.

  Stayed here for four nights in October would have loved longer. Checked in late after reception closed our lamps were lit tea coffee and milk left for us and radio playing relaxing music! Next day Sue was so helpful and organised trips to Daintree and the reef suited to our requirements with minimal fuss. Lovely comfortable accommodation and pool convenient to everything especially the wide range of exc - Verandahs is in a great location, so close to everything, no car needed. Older children can safely move between Verandahs, the shops and the beach on their own. Sue was a real pleasure to meet and very helpful. The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was spacious enough for 4 adults and well equipped. Overall stay was really relaxing.
