Great view from a well designed, very clean, 2 bedroom unit. Wake up to the morning sun and sea view across to Dunk Island. Pool and BBQ excellent with tools and cleaning materials laid out. The cleanliness was impeccable with laundered shower curtains on arrival reflecting the highest standard of cleanliness throughout. -

The hosts, Moira & Ron were great. Friendly & accomodating. i stayed 4 nights for business reasons & i must commend the cleaners to a job well done : the rooms were always tidied up & spotless. I have booked in here again for my next business trip within 2 months. Thanks to all. -

The lady there went out off her way to move myself and my children to another room so it would be quieter on her on accord which I thought was lovely of her. And was very pleasant n friendly to speak to. :) -
Friendly staff and cleanliness. (Spotlessly clean.) Went out of their way to help. Didn't hear much traffic.

This was by far one of the best motel stays I have experienced anywhere in the world.
The owners efforts to provide little unexpected extras make this a fantastic motel, close to all amenities and definitely achieves it's (home away from home) motto. Will definitely be back. -

The owners of the Motel were very friendly. We were travelling with a two year old toddler, and they put up a cot for him in our room. The size of the room was ok. There was a fridge and a microwave and some dishes but no real kitchenette. The bathroom was spacious.

The unit was very clean and comfortable and the staff were polite and accommodating. Undercover Parking. Also after a day out it was great to relax in the undercover BBQ and outdoor area. A really nice place to stay. We definitely will go back again.

Australia. From reception we got nice advice for other spot points in
Rockhampton and a recommendation for there restaurant which one was a

Facilities were excellent. Clean, spacious, all mod cons, fridge, microwave, cable tv, toaster, hairdryer, iron. Comfy bed, comfy couch, plenty of room to move around, table & chairs outside. Friendly staff. Knew when rooms were being cleaned between 9 and 11 so could go out then and know would come back to clean room. Excellent place. -

Staff were accommodating to our needs e.g. parking for two cars. While it was fluorescent tube lighting it was much better than the trend towards dimly lit rooms that we seem to have experienced so often of late. Room was more than satisfactory for a short notice overnight stay Thanks.

Clean and comfortable. I very much liked that they caterered very well for smokers with facilities outside each room with nice little table and chairs. We did enjoy this, it also provided an opportunity to socialise with other motel guests. Very nice touch. -

Big room with plenty of beds and space. We were given an additional room with extra bathroom which was perfect. Location is close to the airport, and a very short walk to the train line which goes into the city and also to the entertainment centre. Would definitely stay again.

This was one of the best places we stayed in Australia. Excellent location right on on beautiful Magnetic Island, right on the beach, which you will have mostly to yourself. Celeste and Tim are the highlight of the Arcadia Guest House. Awesome couple. I had the opportunity to go back to Magnetic Island after my first visit and knew that i would go back to the Arcadia Guest House.
The facility has two kitchens fully equipped (if you are in a space without a kitchen), lots of space to hang out and relax with movies and books, a washing machine, the setting is very tropical with birds and all and it's directly across the street from the beach and just a short walk

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst we did the dolphin feeding and a Fraser Island day tour.
We loved it and so did the children.
The owners were helpful in every way & the rooms were so clean & comfortable.

My partner and Ioved staying there the owners we so lovely and helpful we felt so relaxed and well looked after they really knew the local area well and were very helpful at showing us the best places to go we will be coming back for sure :)
