Friendly staff, willing to help poor Canadains who had never been toAustralia before. They were great. Thank you. - Proximity to the airport and other locations I neede to travel to. I was impressed with the way the reception staff handled an obnoxious client.

Awesome people there.Felt so at home.Didnt bother us in any way. Helpful
and friendly and gave us information on things we asked them about.And
she let me stay in our room after checkout as my partner was moving all
our belongings. -

Facilities were excellent. Clean, spacious, all mod cons, fridge, microwave, cable tv, toaster, hairdryer, iron. Comfy bed, comfy couch, plenty of room to move around, table & chairs outside. Friendly staff. Knew when rooms were being cleaned between 9 and 11 so could go out then and know would come back to clean room. Excellent place. -

Staff were accommodating to our needs e.g. parking for two cars. While it was fluorescent tube lighting it was much better than the trend towards dimly lit rooms that we seem to have experienced so often of late. Room was more than satisfactory for a short notice overnight stay Thanks.

Clean and comfortable. I very much liked that they caterered very well for smokers with facilities outside each room with nice little table and chairs. We did enjoy this, it also provided an opportunity to socialise with other motel guests. Very nice touch. -

We spend a couple of nights there, and honestly it was just an amazing time! The staff is really friendly and really helpful. The accommodation is really nice, with terrace, a nice tv plasma, a little kitchen, and a nice bathroom ( an really clean!)! Everything for a great price ! I was happy with the service and our room, only one thing stops it from being perfect and that's the parking, other then that I enjoyed mt stay and reccomend it to my friends and family nice place city palms keep it up.

They were great! We had an unplanned late arrival and I had been unable to call to warn them. When we arrived they were closed and I was terrified that we would have a problem. The lady there went out off her way to move myself and my children to another room so it would be quieter on her on accord which I thought was lovely of her. And was very pleasant n friendly to speak to. :) -

Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value.
Requested 6 meals, 2 x 3 types,(on a night meals not usually served)

Proximity to The Strand, a credit to Townsville Council. Room was clean and neat. TV needs replacing soon, screen pixelating continually.
Reception staff (owners ?) were very helpful with directions.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst we did the dolphin feeding and a Fraser Island day tour.
We loved it and so did the children.
The owners were helpful in every way & the rooms were so clean & comfortable.
The kids loved the pool and when the tide is out in the bay the scenery is just stunning !!

very nice place to stay close to where we wanted and a very helpful and friendly lady on duty at the time we were there would recommend to all our friends. -
Friendliness of the reception and allowing the late arrival with little drama. The shower head was excellent and a welcome relief for sore muscles.

Friendly and obliging staff. Always greeted us with a smile and a chat especially Elizabeth, mother of the owner. Location was handy to beach and was within a short walking distance of shops -

This is such a friendly hotel and the staff were so helpful it was a pleasure to stay there. Our room was pretty standard but good enough and very clean. Location was convenient to the "Esplanade" and local shopping and restaurants.
The manager, Rosemary, was very helpful. We arrived a number of hours before we were supposed to check in and our room was already ready for us.
The manager helped us book our tours and even drove us to the wharf on the day, so we wouldn't be late and this was greatly appreciated.
