  Location is close to city centre and Lake Burley Griffin. If the weather is fine, it's only a short walk to city centre whilst the Lake is just across the main road with crossing via a walkway. Main sites are easily reached. We travelled by taxi as the weather was inclement and we had light luggage which wechecked into the sites we visited. If we return to Canberra, then this place would be - Superbly clean, even when using the eco-friendly cleaning option (by which you elect to reuse your linen and not to have powered appliances used to clean the room - a good option to have offered). Beautifully appointed room and bathroom. Fantastic location, with excellent dining options in the hotel and nearby (and artisan bakery is next door).

  Reception staff - very friendly at each encounter. I was welcomed with unsolicited suggestions and free maps - very nice touch you would normally only see in a small country town. I am not that fussy but . . . I find dry irons in hotel rooms very frustratingly ineffective and a statement of mistrust. Breakfast buffet was very, very reasonably priced - didn't feel any urge to over-eat just to get my mone - My wife fell and broke her arm 3 hours after we arrived; I was diagnosed with DVT 3 days later. We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

  The two bedroom apartment suited our family group of 3 adults and two children with the addition of a single bed. Easy access from the basement garage to the fourth floor to a well appointed and bright apartment - the king beds were divine.   Excellent service. Had to drop our bags to get to a function and when we returned late that evening we were all checked in, keys ready and bags in our room. Room service was great. - I loved the modern, clean, spacious room with the scrumptious buffet breakfast and went back a second time.
