Clean, comfortable, large accommodation, it was great to unpack and cook your own meals if you want to. A nice easy pretty walk into town, bikes available for free use. The owners were just the friendliest, loveliest people we have met, maybe because they are New Zealanders!! -

Owners friendly and helpful . Very central, just down from main street with the restaurants, cafes, and shops . Really peaceful , small, and comfortable , set in beautiful tropical gardens with a solar heated naturally designed pool with decking surrounds . Holiday kitchen or large under cover b.b.q.s . We stayed for 8 nights at this fabulous accommodation. The studio was very well equipped kitchen, bathroom and comfortable large bed. We over looked the garden with barbecue ,garden and pool. The staff are very friendly and recommended and booked days out for us. Would defiantly stay again. Port Douglas is a relaxed small town with great bars and resteraunts and good shopping.and the accommodation is in easy walking distance. The beach is a 5 minute walk.

We loved the facilities. It felt right at home, and the place seemed like excellent value. Short walk to the beach, a small but pretty pool, bbq every night under the southern sky. Free beach toys for loan! -

The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accomodat

Very helpful staff, great position. Good value for money. Rooms were very clean and bright. Really appreciated extra touches such as free use of beach umbrellas and chairs as well as kids toys. Thanks for making our first day at Port Douglas so memorable.

Really good apartments for families - extremely quiet, reasonably spacious and well equipped and delightful management. Well located just 5 mins from the beach and about a 10 min walk to the high street -

We cam with our family - big kids & grandkids - I had booked it almost a year ago off the Internet - I just hoped it was what we wanted & it was. We liked the layout of the Sands Resort and that every apartment looked out over the central garden and swimming pool area - a very pleasant atmosphere. The property was not a massive resort and was well secure. The management were very friendly and accommodating.A pleasant walk into the shopping precinct with a shuttle bus at reasonable cost at end of day.

Jakob was fantastic, so helpful with information on the area, and he even negotiated a discount for our snorkelling tour on the reef for us. The rooms were basic but fantastic value for money and extremely clean.

It's a very quiet yet convenient location in relation to the main street and businesses of town, clean and well cared for. Jakob is an excellent host with a plethora of knowledge of the region and the services available to visitors; he helped to make our stay a memorable and pleasant week. We highly recommend the Palm Villas!

There was an initial problem as I booked a twin room but got a double, for the first night the staff gave me an extra room for no extra cost, then stated that if I found another hotel, they would refund the difference, however, the staff realised that they had made a mistake and gave me the extra room for the rest of my stay at no extra cost, also

We stayed in a very nice, clean king bedroom with a great colour scheme. There is a small en-suite and comfy bed. A map of Port Douglas at reception. Free internet on provided ipad. Great customer service - reception is a phone, I called them twice and we waited 10mins. Lady came and apologised and gave us our keys, then the owner came and knocked on the door and apologised profusely with a bottle. Brilliant location. Would definitely stay again.
