Lurline House was an absolute gem, or should I say that Peter and Suzanne were absolute gems. From the moment we arrived we felt like part of their extended family and were treated accordingly. Amazing view, incredibly comfortable and cheerful atmosphere, as well as the proximity to all main touristic spots! Echo Point and Three Sisters are just in 1-3 minute walk. We were there as the threat of a major bushfire approach. The staff were really helpful and on hand to help us, even though their houses were at risk.
This is a great location for all of the sights.
We requested something for the room and it was immediate.

The staff there were so accommodating, we felt as though we were staying with their family (in a good way)! The rooms were recently renovated and were fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the heating blankets were such a welcome treat for the chilly winter's nights. Breakfast was fabulous and very affordable. We cannot say enough good

I can't praise the staff (owners) highly enough. The woman that we dealt with was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious enough for 3 adults and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious.

We stayed only 2 nights at 3 Explorers and had a really relaxing comfortable stopover, The room was well above our expectations, well equiped and furnished with excellent taste. The staff were great, friendly and able to give good acurate and uptodate information on local attractions.

Very nice attention, the host was really helpful with everything we needed, and he was always worried about giving us the maximum comfort. The beds where very big, the room was completely well equipped with all kitchen staffs, and the location was very good. The wifi access was very good and the place clean. Also the rooms where well acclimated. I reallyrecomend it.

We were very impressed with the helpful staff, all very friendly and they supplied a lovely full breakfast in the dining room and in our room we also had a microwave and items to be zapped in it were available for purchase at the office. We entered our room it had the heating on and was lovely and warm and very comfortable the whole time. It is about 15 mins walk (with luggage) from the Katoomba Railway Station and very convenient to shops and all facilities.

I had spent three days hiking so was looking for a hotel room with a spa bath. The Heritage Hotel room was perfect.
