Once we got to the hotel, we were upgraded to the penthouse apartment for no extra costs and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us staying. The staff were helpful. We didn't use the free bike hire service in the end, but it was good to know they had it if needed.
The ferry -
Location was great. Easy access to CityCat and free Hop On Hop Off Ferry. Walkable to Southbank with many restaurants, cultural venues, great promenade, park like environment and the lovely man-made lagoon. Would go back to Brisbane in a heart beat.
A bit of a mix-up with our reservation. They had us down for the night after we had reserved. Brigitte at front desk was great and found a room for us with 2 beds (which was what we had requested). Not too sure what happened with that!

I live in Brisbane but had study to catch up on for exams that being on tap at home was preventing, so I checked into Midtown for 5 nights. A Good value hotel in comparison to some motels that I've stayed in. Very quiet so I had a good night's sleep after travelling all day from Perth. Staff very helpful, ample free under ground parking. Good cheap restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Will definately stay again. Very modern hotel with new furniture, very well appointed. -

The location was excellent. Easy walk to ferry and not far from city. Access using a car was very easy and very easy to get to the airport from there.
The double glazing worked very well and kept the noise from the busy road out front to a very low level, we slept well! -

We stayed in an apartment facing the road with river views on the second storey. Nice big balcony and no road noise inside with doors closed. I loved it's location in Park Road next to the restaurants- great for Sunday breakfast.
And it was lovely having a river view from the balcony- very relaxing sitting there with a coffee.
I also liked the interior design- where the front doors overlook the lobby.
