The bay view from the window was gorgeous, so picking a room you should
definitely choose one with the bay view not a gulf view, since a busy
road separates the hotel from the gulf , so you won't really be able
to see any water. Location is good, very close to the beach and other
hotels and restaurants. Staff was informative and friendly. -

The gulf view room was very comfortable and roomy. The room was ready as soon as we arrived (before check in time!) There were two double beds in the bedroom and a pull out couch in the livingroom The kitchen was well stocked. We were able to cook dinner in and sit at the small dining table. Gulf. Beautifully landscaped. Two very nice pools, and a great large hot

The recently-remodeled rooms were great! Very clean, very tasteful décor, and you basically get 4 rooms (bathroom, mini-kitchen with granite countertop, bedroom and living room) in the space of a regular hotel room. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was right there by the beach. If you're looking at a place to relax this is a good option. The beach is not too crowded and it's steps away from the hotel. My wife enjoyed watching the dolphins while we sat and enjoyed the sun. The furniture in the balcony could be upgraded but that's about it.

We always have enjoyed staying at the Tradewinds complex. The beach is beautiful there and there are many amenities to enjoy. - The staff was very friendly and able to answer any questions that I had. I enjoyed everything about my stay at the hotel.

This hotel is much better in person than how it is reflected in the
photos!! Several reviews have said this place is "retro" or
out-dated which is not true at all. The lobby is just brightly colored
as are the rooms - like the rest of St. Pete Beach - since the town has
a coastal / art deco design. Honestly, this hotel really should be
rated higher as it's great... Perfect beach access for a reasonable
price, quiet and peaceful. I would stay again but next time longer!

It was quiet, easy access to the beach, pleasant staff, clean, good
location, ample parking. Love the shuttle to the other location with
the bigger pool/activities. Kids liked the shuttleboard and ping

The people were sooooooooo nice!!! When we arrived to our room after check-in, our toilet was running, so we called the front desk to have maintenance come to our room to fix it, and he came 5 mins later and fixed it right away!! :) Very impressive. We have stayed at the South Beach Condo Hotel twice and we love the rooms and the location of the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and are equipped with everything you need. I have already booked a room in this condo hotel for next May! -
What a wonderful place to stay ? Other condo was spacious , beautifully decorated, very clean, had everything you needed. And a view to die for. Staff on arrival were, friendly and very informative.
Would without doubt stay again.

The location on the Gulf and close to many beach activities, shopping, Fort Desoto State Park were all excellent. We had a King suite which was more than what we needed...Clean, comfortable, fridge, nice bedding, gulf peek, spacious bath. Enjoyed the pools, and especially Harry's Tiki bar :D. -

The place was clean, updated with nice amenities. Two bathrooms made it great for a family of four and the kitchen had everything we needed. John's Pass was super close for dinners and tourist shopping as well as the Publix being super close too. -
