  We had to upgrade to the biggest room and weren't sorry for it. Everything is beautifully decorated in the halls and the atmosphere in the whole house is cozy. The free parking behind the house was very handy. The location on King St. was perfectly placed to see everything from the harbor to the shopping street around the corner. Finally, the fresh-baked cookies available at 5:00 p.m. in the a - My wife and I stayed here on an onvernight stop in Charleston while on honeymoon in the US. We arrived just as afternoon tea and drinks were being served in the sitting room downstairs and enjoyed some great southern hospitality. The room was spacious and clean and the house itself was ideally located to explore Charleston. There was ample off street parking behind the house which was included in the price of our stay. Overall it was fantastic value for money.

  The Inn was charming. I loved the courtyards and the open, atrium view from my room. Although it was a continental breakfast, I was able to fill out the request form every night with what I wanted and everything I ordered was delivered the next morning at the time that I specified. I had read earlier reviews about the limited parking, but we really didn't have any problem finding a place to park, - Location & staff in the front office. Help in trying to find county offices and libraries for genealogy research was a new challenge that required some nontraditional answers but which were found - a learning process for all. - They had a complimentary wine and cheese reception every night, and the breakfast each morning was delightful. While a bagel and pastry breakfast was complimentary, we had the option to purchase a hot breakfast, and it was lovely.
